Spam Filters in Hosting
If you get a hosting package from us and if you use our mail services, you will be able to set up spam filters for any of the email accounts that you create from the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel. With only several clicks of the mouse, you can choose between five different levels of safety. In case you start getting spam, you can start with the lowest level and then gradually raise the level until you stop getting spam. We use one of the best and most popular filters available called SpamAssassin. It analyzes the header and the body of every email that you receive and determines a spam score, based on which it either deletes a particular email or allows it to enter your mailbox. The Hepsia Control Panel will also permit you to set up custom spam filters and either delete unwelcome messages or redirect them to a 3rd-party address like spam@domain.com where you can read them once more afterwards.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Servers
If you get a semi-dedicated server plan from our company and if you set up one or more mailboxes with any of the domains hosted under your account, you will be able to activate the powerful, 5-level SpamAssassin spam filter that we offer and keep all unsolicited emails out of your inbox. This service is accessible through the Hepsia hosting Control Panel’s Email Manager section and it can be activated or deactivated for any mailbox at any moment. You can also adjust the level of security with a couple of mouse clicks in case unsolicited bulk messages still enter your inbox or the anti-spam filter starts erasing legitimate messages. Since you can select if the spam should be erased straight away or re-sent to a separate email account, you can set up spam@domain.com, for instance, and view all filtered email messages there, so as to make sure that you won’t omit an email that you require. The emails that the anti-spam filter permits to proceed will still appear in your mailbox.
